It is not enough to provide education alone but one needs to have a sustainable livelihood. Therefore, about half a dozen of our centres offer formal and non formal technical training with the possibility of placements. In the past ten years about 5,000 youth have passed out of our technical centres and are well placed in the society today. They are now helping us to reach out to more of such youngsters. We don’t just stop with technical training. Opportunities are given in the field of higher education through our two Polytechnics which are placed in the Tsunami affected areas.
