06.  Don Bosco – KEELA ERAL

VISION

Don Bosco, Keela Eral envisages an integral development of the rural children, youth and women through animation, formal education and non-formal technical training for economic and social enhancement and advancement.

MISSION

  • We will provide opportunities for the children of the area to reach at least till 12th standard.
  • We will identify youngsters, especially the school dropouts and give them non-formal technical training and help them to find jobs.
  • We will animate the women and help them to form into federations to obtain economic independence.

 MAJOR ACTIVITIES

  1. Don Bosco community college provides non-formal technical skill training with soft skill education, and communication skill training.
  2. Job placement assistance is provided to the poor youth.
  3. Promotion of self-help group and organizing income-generation and capacity building training workshops.
  4. Child sponsorship programme for poor and full/semi orphan children towards their education
  5. Supplementary educational assistance through evening study centres in the nearby villages.
  6. Don Bosco primary school provides education mostly to Dalit children.
